In a sequel of sorts to Purple Rain, the artist formerly known as Prince struggles musically with Morris Day for control of the nightclub that the two co-own in this dramatic musical fantasy. There is the power of faith--in oneself and in a higher power. There is the power of love. There is the never-ending struggle between good and bad. And there is the power of music.
